Hello friends, and welcome back to the ‘Journey with God’ series! It’s so good to have you here as I humbly delve into God’s Word. New subscribers or old, your support and love are never unnoticed or taken for granted. You are a blessing from the Lord. I hope Jesus is working in you and your loved ones as we build His Kingdom together.
The last series, 1 Samuel 25, was convicting and challenging. It made me reflect on my behaviour and tendencies in certain high-pressure situations. How we act, especially in front of people who are not Christians, is extremely important, as we are meant to be ambassadors for Christ.
The next series is…
Ezra & Nehemiah: From Ruins to Restoration
I studied Nehemiah in an Old Testament course I recently completed, and just loved the conviction it brought me about how I view things in ruin. Ruined things are redeemable if we only have faith that God makes all possible. Paired with the invaluable work of Ezra, there is a whole lot to explore about the Israelites’ restoration to their promised land.
We must never forget that we were once in ruin as well, with death looming over us, but Christ came and restored us. Redeemed and new.
We’ll be kicking off with the first post next Wednesday. I can’t wait! God bless!
